Valentine’s Day Aphrodisiacs

Prepare yourself for Valentine’s Day and stock up on aphrodisiacs!

We thought we’ll do these recipes a bit earlier to give you time to reorder some basic stock and even have an unofficial practice run with your mates to avoid any flops on your special day.

While searching for those fine recipes of drinkable Valentine delights, three things we kept in mind.

1. Must be easy to make (lets face it, most of us will likely have limited mixing skills and not much time efficiency or patience. We don’t really want to annoy our special date either now, do we?)

2. Must be little to read (most of us have become lazy and prefer video over plain text!)

3. Must be a real desert! (This is a special day, so let’s keep it sweet and heavy! Yummmm…)

Firstly stock up on some aphrodisiacs!

It is always good to have a simple backup plan in case you get too lazy or too busy to mix.

We’ll touch on three of those aphrodisiacs…

Aphrodisiac number 1 – chocolate (fine chocolate liquor – Godiva)

Chocolate Martini – the first simple recipe using one of the aphrodisiacs

Aphrodisiac number 2 – red wine

For those who are single and are thinking of throwing an exotic single’s party on Valentine’s Day use red wine to make perfect Sangria. Although it is a bit of a summer drink, it still performs well at tropic-themed parties during February. Besides, if you heat your house up enough, it can be sufficient to host a semi-tropic themed bikini/mankini or a sexy underwear party. :p

Aphrodisiac number 3 – Sambuca

Ok, this is where we have to tell you not to try this at home.
