Daniel Laine’s photography book on African Kings
Between 1988 and 1991 French photographer Daniel Laine spent about 12 months on the African continent tracking down and photographing figures of royalty and leaders of kingdoms. 70 photographed monarchs and descendants of the great African dynasties are published in his fine book entitled "African Kings".
The Halloween Zombie Walk in Central London
Retox Magazine gets in with the Zombie Walk in London. A zombie pub-crawl with a chilling difference takes place in central London to celebrate the Halloween weekend. The Halloween zombie pub-crawl covered Waxy O'Connors pub, The Exchange pub, On Anon pub, Ruby Blue pub, and in-between the zombies did a 1 mile walk to freak out Londoners! Pandemonia rocks Portobello!
Pandemonia and her dog Snowy visit the Children of Vision salon on Portobello Road while Channel 4 films for Seven Days series. The new unleashed 7-foot superstar Pandemonia attracted much attention from onlookers who watched Retox Magazine, Joey Sky and the Channel 4 crew simultaneously shoot Pandemonia as John sprayed her hair with the finest imported silicone.
The Barbie Curse
Doctor, waitress, police officer, fire fighter, ballerina… Easy tiger! We are not talking about those kinky fetish outfits! We are actually talking about the swift and sudden career moves this plastic wasp-wasted multilingual super-brain has undertaken. However, with great sadness we must inform you that Retox Magazine had rejected Barbie’s application for employment, as she was hugely overqualified. Retox Magazine also felt that Barbie is incapable to stick to one job for a longer period of time. - Quite simple really.
The dirty sexy nasty goblins
A single goblin will not be of much damage, just a nuisance - a pest that will rummage through your food waste and all sorts of other rubbish. In large numbers, however, they can be extremely dangerous and initiate an attack similar to the Jaipur monkey gangs in India. This is not a laughing matter as these goblin attacks can be dangerous. At least that’s the case when it comes to your goldfish…
