Prestigious Polish designer, Malgorzata Dudek, has designed the most magnificent and exquisite compilation of designs for her self-titled collection. Influenced as a child by designer, Edyta Dabrowska, from the age of 7 her fascination for extreme styles came to light with the creation and burning of her Marzanna effigies (a traditional fable ceremony). She then set out to produce clothes which broke away from conventions. With this and the constrained country she grew up in, Dudek found appreciation simultaneously for the clothes she received from Western Germany and the countryside which was all around her.

Malgorzata Dudek’s thrill seeking collection defies boundaries facing the feminine silhouette

Malgorzata Dudek’s showcased collection is wild, extreme and defies the boundaries facing the feminine silhouette. Dudek lets nothing restrict the beautiful statement pieces from her original intentions. Her designs are eccentric; the unique strong bursts of ruffling enhance the shoulders and create new lines to the natural figure, this is done with such detail, a puzzle in which each piece results in a beautifully structured garment.

Malgorzata Dudek breaks away from all normality

We can see the pure elegance with which nature becomes materialistic, the complimentary mixture of heavy and soft textures create the most fascinating and unique dynamics to Dudek’s collection. Skirts that look like coral, hard by look yet soft in detail, dresses with swirls and curls up and beyond the breast, extending curves, colours come from roots; neutrals, greens, blacks and greys.

Dudek’s couture most certainly has the shock appeal, subtle and yet at the same time compelling; she uses ornament legs to produce distinctive hats! She also creates an extension of the body through to the floor, seen in her floor dropping dresses. The stature that is created through shapes and shadows create a break away from all normality, even though her mainstream modes are widely recognised. Dudek’s international client base consists of many well-recognised figures. American actress: Rachel Bilson, fellow countrywomen, Polish singers: Romona Rey and Justyna Steczkowska, along with many more.

Malgorzata Dudek’s bold designs with definite intention to shock

It is easy to see from this collection, that Malgorzata Dudek’s bold designs came with the intentions to shock. Materials in density, the mixture of gradients and textures, colour and weight; such as leather tassels, lie heavily on the body. Her collection leaves an impression of pure divergence and differentiation from any other trend.
