Students used this opportunity to showcase their shiny and shimmering collections to the audience of Graduate Fashion Week 2011.

Each one of these mesmerising collections had something to shine about at GFW 2011.

A strong explosion of vivid colours where often seen on the Graduate Fashion Week catwalk.
Collections presented at Graduate Fashion Week by Amanda Brown and Katie Williams from De Montfort University, Sarah Ho from Edinburgh College of Art and Maria Angela Choumanidis from Northumbria University. Each collection presented multi-coloured and vibrant garments, truly penetrating the frequency receptors of the human eye, GFW 2011.

Some Graduate Fashion Week participants were on the same wavelength - to look like sheepskin and have that stuff wrapped around the legs, thighs and bottoms is going to be another big look, assuming graduates are the trendsetters.

Squat, getup, squat getup… This went on for quite a bit until the model who’s ankles gave in finally ‘crawled off’ the stage. Shocking, no one came to help the girl!
This particular Graduate Fashion Week catwalk accident happened during the presentation of Elisabetta Oberto’s (Istituto Marangoni Paris) collection.
Never judge a man by the size of his shoe! In this class act, the male fashion model realises that he is drowning in his boots, so he decides to lose them. A professional model that he is, he aims not to disturb the show too much, so he chucks the boots forward and into the air, and continues to strut his stuff down the catwalk. The boots fly off his feet and he collects them on his way back. Sweetly done!
